The Act of Flowing

Freedom I long in life
In poetry I seek free verse
That is free from meter and rhyme
To express like a cascade
Whatever burn and boil inside
To erupt like a volcano
With all the magma, lava
Fire and silica
To roar like a lion or a sea
To make an echo or to create waves
To reach to an ear or to a shore of a soul
I seek to pour like rain
To blow like a gust of wind
And to flow like a stream
I need a verse that is totally free
From any rules and restrictions
To show the beauty
Inside me the flower holds
To spread the scent all over
From the soil I made of
To reflect back
I seek the flight of a bird
The diving of a dolphin
And the digging of a spade
To fetch you pearls
To gift you gems
And catch golden rays
In between my fingers
To focus upon
The spot suffering from lack of light.
