The Abstract

The abstract painting come alive
No normalcy for it to strive
The rest of us just here intact
Painting come alive. The abstract

A 2D life escaped at last
Dimension found and now surpassed
Simple shapes now complex in strife
Escaped at last, a 2D life

Cubes former squares, circles now spheres
It walks among unpainted peers
Features askew distorted stares
Circles now spheres, cubes former squares

What does it see, the beholder
An eye where beauty is bolder
An abstract view to what could be
The beholder, what does it see?
