Remember remember the 11th of September 
A day of infamy, for many their last 
The moment time stood still
Before the world fell apart


Remember remember the 11th of September 
When so many lives were lost
To ignorance and hate
A selfish act whatever the reason

Remember remember the 11th of September 
An instant when love and courage conquered all
Community became more important than revenge
Love a more powerful tool than envy

Remember remember the 11th of September 
A day that rocked a nation
Never forget the lessons learned that day 
As long as we remember 
The sacrifices that day were not in vain

Remember remember the 11th of September
