That's Why I Love Cats
Cats are fluffy, furry and independent too.
Once they've decided you're theirs - loyal and devoted to you.
They put their paw prints - all over your heart!
Never from there do they ever part!
Cats can sense your emotions - they know when you are feeling down.
They do their kitty-cat antics - to chase away our frowns!
Cats do get into mischief - every now and again.
But it's so hard to stay mad at them - when your broken heart they mend!
Cats have nine lives - and are good at avoiding harm.
It must be an extremely special part of their charm!
Cats fill a void in some lonely people's life.
Driving away depression and a good deal of strife!
Cats are exceptionally precious and dear to me.
And hope that from them I am NEVER completely free!
Our Guardians must have sent them to us from their home up above.
Because there is absolutely no better way to receive - unconditional love!!!
