That's Not Me
I decided today
to give away
all the not me's
that I've tried to make
from the nonchalant
of the really don't care
to the proud and the brave
but mostly I'm scared
along with the got it together
hook, line, and sinker
to the don't worry I'm a professional
really wishing I was not here
I'll do my best not to be
someone other than me
put myself out
for others to see
when I don't pretend
I'm someone other than me
imagine the freedom
that's going to set free
