I don't need your poetry
With words that rhyme.....
Just hold hands with me
From time to time

You don't need a reservation....
To keep in touch
Just say, you love me
That's good enough

I didn't hold my hand out
For your golden ring
Just to feel your hand in mine
Means everything....

I don't need your diamonds, 
Fancy gifts and such
Just say, you love me
That's good enough

You don't have to be a Shakespeare
Or another Hemingway.....
Those words. that you're thinking
Just write them... in your eyes and on your face
