Thats a Rap

I find that I do not despair
Please do not think that I don’t care
But problems I cannot control
I’ve found can really take a toll
And so if I must now confess
It’s easier to worry less
I focus on the things I can
And trust Him with the bigger plan
All else, just another trap
Good night, dear poets, that’s a rap

"so if I must now confess It’s easier to worry less" - I ask people what they get out of worrying? It does not seem to help them.

Profound thought there, my friend, wrapped up in that clever ending. Well-done, maestro. :) gw

Oh, how I can relate to this one, Jeff. I refuse to get sucked into situations I cannot change, cannot control, cannot improve...on and on...you got this!

Perfect Jeff! Reminds me of the Serenity Prayer. Linda
