That Zags With a Zig

Had a thought that was after
not sure if it was after definitely not before noon
the effect that came after was witnessed
every where
the sight of the eye
the ache of the ear
the bird that was mocking
the frog that leaps
full of forget
joy never stuck
struck was the moon
set was the sun
all the kill was over
forward never straight
scaled every time
the writer of type
that zags with a zig
