That Sweet Smile
Every time I close my eyes
I see your sweet, sweet smile
Being with you has enriched my life
Though it was only for a while
You said the word “forever”
For me you’d wait and be true
You filled the part of me that was missing
All this time I’ve been searching for you
And when the nights get lonely
And my heart weeps its bitter tears
I shut my eyes and see that sweet, sweet smile
And it melts away all my fears
So when you’re feeling lost and empty
Just close your eyes and see
That sweet, sweet smile will creep upon your face
Because you’ll be thinking of me
