That Someone

What is there to do, to think, to say after sharing life in special ways
To spend the days in dread never fulfilled never truly fed
Building internal misery
The if questions pressure, the past tense spins
As the truth feeds the urgency to leave
A heartache to the silence pushing towards the distance
Never to speak up before the investment
The priceless irreplaceable value of time spent together
A relationship that reflects murderous weather

Interesting poem. "Never to speak up before the investment" is so true. Love is like that where we feel good and commit for this reason only.

Thank you for your comment and yes it does feel good to commit and then when we give more and the balance is lost there is the divide in the value of the time enveloped within the relationship.
