That Soft Still Voice
They are many voices all around
creating thoughts of many a kind
carefulness is required just in case
these thoughts can make one blind
We all have that inner voice
not audible but just as strong
speaking tones of sounds in our head
giving us the option right or wrong
There are dark voices that speak
to those suffering depression so bad
holding them down feel like chains
making it all seem so very mad
The listening ear needs are tender
for the voice so soft hard to detect
learn to know all the spirit would say
then you know the right voice to select
Amidst all the sounds that are heard
there a still small voice truly divine
come down from God for our benefit
which says come to me drink of my wine
This wine is spiritually powerfully full
taking us down the heavenly route
so keep our ears to be in tune
follow this voice to eat succulent fruit
