That Significant Day
With this April’s warm sun,
Underneath the fair sky,
To this humble shade if now you come!
For, I have all set the sacred settings:
Free pastures, seclusion, old trees, and composure;
The wild crows cawing,
The buzzing bees, flying fluttering between the trees—Long-white-tailed black sparrows, and breeze;
Calves grazing, and bleating sheep.
Apart from clamor, dust, lust, and smoke,
To the lush meads by the country.
And; recall in merriness, peace, pride and grief,
That significant day! We e’er met and secretly began to love!
