That One Flaw

kingdoms of niceness
were never meant to be
perfect for there will always
be that one flaw that will
become emboldened and
accentuated by many

you can talk until your
throat starts to go ribbit
you can try to make peace
until the fan catches the runs
that one flaw will render you
defenceless despite your best
and your most sincere efforts
perhaps forward movement is
necessary, yet that spot that was
once so warm now has you
experiencing a little taste of
frostbite at the surface's edge
now what do you do in this crises....
