That Night

I met her that night,
Dreaming on her seat,
And in all that light,
I felt my heart beat.

She gave me a smile,
With her eyes so bright,
And I held her tight,
Dancing for a while.

She was so pretty,
In all her gaiety,
And she was so nice
That she melt my ice.

Beauty of the isles,
Nature’s work of art,
I wish that miles
Would never us part.
