That Man

Looking at that picture
Of a man, a total stranger
Braving the risk of terror
And all too possible death
To save a child lost in the melee
And facing real danger
Of coming face to face
With the merchants of death
One cannot help but think
That at such moments as these
Where a child is involved
Irrespective of whose child
One cannot think of oneself
Or of anything other than
The life of that child;
And so it was with
That man, that hero
Harish Patel!
Who exemplifies
All those heroes
Of Westgate!
