That Loving Feeling

On my walk I have often tripped and fallen many times
Despite all my talk and the multitude of my rhymes
I am no greater nor lest, each of us on our own journey
I have failed this test and that is not very hard to see

Despite all those failures being too numerous to recall
Despite losing all the wars as one after another I’d fall
Despite having walked away from His own loving Hand
Jesus loves me no less today, this I hope you understand

His Love for you is beyond compare His mercy is so great
He has numbered your every hair and He knows your fate
Wanting nothing in return but to place Him in your heart
There is nothing you have to earn for He has paid your part

But You must make that choice for He has given free will
One can choose to rejoice or choose to forever remain ill
So simple and natural to do and as you too will soon find
His healing will completely renew your body, soul and mind

Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light." Matthew 11:29-30
The Good News: Rest your weary souls with the Lord, and he will grant you peace of mind, body, and soul.
