That Look
Where did you get that look?
So gentle and caring,
from a life filled with scars?
No, no it couldn't be, only from innocence,
can such a look be born.
How long, my friend, will you wear
such a beautiful look?
Before shattering tears
fall from your eyes.
Look at yourself, stuck in a hall of mirrors,
counting down to your own demise.
But never once, did you lose that look, oh so gentle and caring.
With arms, creating an embrace that makes even the strongest,
break inside and cry.
Always with the gentle look
do you welcome all into your caring embrace
leaving behind our sorrows and scars, to a world filled with your embrace.
