That Last Dusk
The sun was beginning to touch the sea,
The distance of the day,had started to cease.
His eyes shone in the orange light,
Tears in his eyes made him loose clear sight.
Today was the last time he could see it all,
For the priest had predicted today's dawn would mark his last breath.
Silent fears clouded his head,
How everyday will his grandson go to bed?
Will the wife be able to manage all the money?
Worries of all kind had made his last day less sunny.
The day was over, he closed his eyes,
Time to wave the world a goodbye.
Like a baby he cried himself to sleep that night,
Because he knew the sun wont rise for him again.
8 hours of sleep and he opened his eyes,
Shock to see, he was still alive,
How could the priest ever go wrong?
Probably i have become a ghost now.
