That Hurt

Stepped on a cheerio 
Heard a Crunch!

Slipped off a treadmill 
Seemed like a punch!

Saw Mr. Alligator 
Munch his Lunch!

Hit my head in the elevator 

          OUCH !

It was the cheerio that started it first! How are you duin? Personally I haven't had much time to think let alone write. Except. I have a story for ya if you happened to read "Song for Jayla ". Readers digest version, My wife rescued a 10 year old girl from a crazy situation. My work reflects actual events with that little girl. Anyhow, I would have to explain in person. Too long to write here. We kept her for a few weeks until the police took her away to return to the mother. Almost were charged with kidnapping. The mother was useless and we felt we had to step up. The poem reflects my feelings. Best to you and thank you for your comments.

Hot here Ray. 100. My daughter h just got back from Phoenix, where it was 117 each day, Grandson was in a baseball-tournament of 50 teams. She was so.glad to get back home!
