That Goofy Grinning Face

Enthusiasm makes each day delightful and insightful.
If we have something new, exciting, or pleasurable to do,
we not only have fun looking forward to its arrival, but on
the big day,

we jump out of our beds and run to the bathroom
barely recognizing the goofy grinning face glancing at us
in the mirror as we run toward the kitchen.

I am going to have an enthusiastic day tomorrow.
I have not seen my grandchildren in almost two months.
The goofy grinning face has been winking at me from the mirror all day.

Hi Caren, Lots of thing can make us happy and make us want to jump out of bed enthusiastically expecting a wonderful day, the grin is from the heart and if the grin is for grandchildren - nothing could make a granny happier - I'm a hopeful granny whose children don't want children, may I share yours??!! Hugs, Jennifer.

I have ten of them. What ages do you want? I can box them up and send them as soon as Monday. They are ages: 3, 4, 6, 8, 9, 10, 12, 12, 15 and 19. If sex matters let me know. I have to admit the boys are more cuddly.

I wanted them to spend the night. My daughter who knows better than I do said no. I was wiped when they left and they were here less than two hours.

I love your poem Caren and agree with the sentiments within it. What joy to see your beloved grandchildren again after so long, I can feel the joy through your words - have fun and cuddles... my face is also grinning back at me, for today I am off to the Royal Albert Hall to see the legend that is Tony Bennett who will be 93 in August! I am beyond excited as I have a seat in the 2nd row... kindest thoughts Ann xx

Thank you Arturo. I have not seen them for six weeks and I used to see them weekly.
