...That Damn Grin

lost in my search the tiger I could not see
 the beast I lost the one Life would not let be
 an end is what was at hand this beast eluded me
then there sat a woman and animal there alone and free
without thought they turned and walked way...unknowingly
then turned and in the desert night ski I could see it so clearly
                                 that damn grin.
