That Chain Around Your Neck
A chain round your neck.
A dog tag;an object of enslavement.
Keeping you imprisoned.
Mental dungeon and visual torture.
That chain around your neck.
Venom laced;poison point.
Drawing you back like a master's dog.
Tongue out;painful panting.
Thirsty and always hungry.
Addicted;obsessive fixation.
That chain round your neck.
Draging you to a never ending hole.
Shouts and shrieks echo from the bottom.
But never scratching the surface.
