* Thank-You Father

Thank-You Father,

For loving me, even when I do wrong
Answering so many prayers, I pray for others.
Showing me that I am your child.
For being ever so patient, during the times
I turned my back on you.
You gently poked me, and said 'My Child I
Need You Back With Me!'
The times I felt so alone, afraid, You were
there in the shadows.
For all the horrible things I said to you, and You
waited for me never scolding,
Just welcoming me back into your loving arms.
When my tears would not stop, You dried them.
You knew what each tear was for.
Giving me a second chance, even when I would
say I won't do it again.
For the many friends I have on this site and many
others.
For watching over them, protecting them, loving
them, being their light in the darkness.
Allowing me to experience being a Mother only if
it was for a short time.
For, forgiving me when I can't forgive myself.
For the beauty I see around me everyday, and so
many times take for granted.
For opening my blinded eyes, and showing me your
undying love for all.
For Blessing me with my four legged creatuers, who
need to be cared for.
For sending so many angels to watch over those who
are lost, broken, forgotten, but not forgotten by you.
Oh Father Thank-You for being You.

Rhonda, this prayer is what keeps us alive... I read a prayer card every morning I discovered in my Dad's drawer.... after he passed....it helps me stay focused on good all day....your poem is absolutely written with amazing spirituality...you are truly a light down life's path...Love, Jim
