Thanksgiving Prayer

We bow before Holy God in a Thanksgiving prayer.
In gratitude for grace gifts supplied year after year.
For clothing, food, lodging, family, and neighbors too,
In this assembly of holy silence, we worship You.

We bow before Holy God in a Thanksgiving entreat.
Commonplace will n’er define the act on Calvary’s tree.
O, such love poured out upon us by the God of Truth.
In this assembly of holy silence, we worship You.

We bow before Holy God in a Thanksgiving appeal,
That fervent love for God, His word, and work will never yield,
To kingdoms that fade away; may Your kingdom forever rule.
In this assembly of holy silence, we worship You.

We bow before Holy God in a Thanksgiving request,
Accept our thankfulness, for You have so richly blessed,
Father, Son, Holy Spirit, Three in One, forever true,
In this assembly of holy silence, we worship You.
