Thanksgiving Is a Time of Collections
"Thanksgiving is a time of
changing seasons...As we see
the beauty of autumn, let us
acknowledge the many
blessings that are ours, let us
think of our family and friends,
and let us give thanks in our hearts."***
(Thanks giving sentiment anonymous)
If we truly love our love ones...we would
want them to remain safe, and secure.
If we would only manage to put God
first in our lives, ours second and ourselves
last, "what a wonderful world this would be."***
If I could change one thing about the world,
the spirit of thanksgiving and brotherly love,
would last all year around. And not just the
yearly ending of our traditional holiday seasons.
Acts of kindness and charity would become
normal and not just seasonal.***
What are you thankful for?
Oh my Lord, I have plenty of food to eat.
And I have a pair of shoes for my feet.
I have a secure roof over my head, and
a twin sized bed. I have clothes to wear,
and a beautician to cut and style my hair.
And this my Lord, I do know material blessings
are only temporal, but spiritual blessings are
eternal! ***
When Jesus Christ walked on this earth among both
men and women, He truly cared for the very least
of them! If He were walking amongst us today,
His gospel of good news would be heard,
twenty-four hours by both night and day! ***
He would teach us why He decided we were
worth sacrificing his life for. He would send
out both men and women, to be his disciples.***
And would give unto them, the ability to
heal the many sickness, of men and women.
But that would not be the very start! Because
first He would have to save and purify their
hearts from the stain of sin! ***
Love in Christ Jesus!
