Thanksgiving Day

"THANKSGIVING DAY" **Trying to decide on where I should start, To sum up all I'm thankful for, it's a little bit difficult to say. But I'll do my very best, as it comes from my heart, I'll begin by being thankful for this beautiful Thanksgiving day. **The first thing I'm thankful for, which will make number one, Is my wonderful Heavenly Father, who continually shows me His love. I'm thankful for His sacrifice, to us His only Son, As that confirms His absolute promise, which is our home forever, in the Heavenly skies up above. **The next thing I'm thankful for, which marks number two, Is I'm thankful for my family, who have put up with so much from me. For I'd be lost without my family, & I wouldn't know what to do, And they all make me feel, the greatest I could possibly be. **Lastly what I'm thankful for, although it tears me apart, Are all the amazing loved ones, who have already passed away. Til I see them again I'll be happy, as they live inside my heart, Until we're together forever, so we can celebrate Thanksgiving Day. ©2021 Melissa Darsey
