Thanksgiving
To an immortal God, father of all, who
Has given me life thus far,
And has bestowed on me all that is beautiful and has kept
None of his promises from being fulfilled, I give thanks.
Knowledge of His love always awe me.
Safely He carries me on his eagle's wings, even when I
Go astray to have a taste of greenish thistle; but
In his mercy he waits for me to come back home.
Vainly, the tempter trying to hunt my soul for the
Immortal God is always my shield. Now I know
Nothing can touch me for I am the apple of His eyes. To this
Great God,marvelous and compassionate, I give all my thanks
