Thanksgiving!
In went the turkey baking in the oven..
Massaged with butter with so much lovin'
Filling up the air is the aroma of cherry pie.
So far nothing to bad, has gone awry!
In the bottom rack is the pumpkin bars.
All this good food will soon be ours!
Cranberry salad topped with whip cream..
It looks so good, so it seems!
Green Bean Casserole will be popular today!
Will there be any left? To soon to say!
Sweet potatoes steaming with delight!
This will be so tasty, when served tonight!
Don't forget the stuffing and the mash potatoes!
All this food I want to eat I can't stay composed!
My mouth is watering! It won't hardly stop!
Oh, bring on the the ham with pineapple on top!
Pour on the gravy all over the turkey and stuffing!
Oh, my~all this food, and you thought I was bluffing!
And last but, not least let us give thanks with care
For all things, family and friends we give thanks with a prayer.
