Thanksgiving

.




                                   B  l  e  s  s  i  n  g   s  a  i  d 
                                            A   M  E   N
                                A slice of turkey and some yams
                              One deviled egg,    soft baked ham
                             Butterbeans, potato salad, some dres-
                             ssing, maybe a pickle, one roll the best
                              A meal for a king, a prince and guest  
                               A spoon of this                            a round drumstick  
                                Taste of that                               just a bite__Yum!
                                                                                                      
                                                                                     
                                                                             
                                                
                                                                             
                                                                               


 Yum!  

I know doesn't look much like a turkey on the platter. LOL..
Another update!! Phyllis had to take Karter to the doctor yesterday with right side abdominal pain. He has appendicitis and is to go to surgery, well probably there now at 7:03 A.M. 11/23/2022. He spent the night in the hospital. Keep us in your prayers. Especially Karter. UPDATE: Karter made it home on Wednesday. We went to see him on Thanksgiving Day. He is sore and having a little pain on movement, cough or laugh. A month of not being able to do anything will be hard but he is looking forward to the month's end and Christmas with some new toys.

We went to see Karter on Sunday because our daughter prepared Thanksgiving dinner for us then. He was much better. He will have to take it easy for a month which will be over just before Christmas. He is a very active, alive and busy little boy on the verge of entering that Jr. High age. Sara
