Thanksgiving

This time of the year we are grateful
for the blessings we have received;
for our family, loved ones,
a bountiful harvest,
special memories,
loving parents,
faithful pets,
teachers,
friends.

Gershon Wolf November 17, 2022 at 6:51 PM I had to chuckle at 'faithful pets.' (Guess they help fill up the pews these days). It's the vestiges of the ghetto Jew in me, still viewing a dog as a 'hoont' (in Yiddish), something to be kicked rather than petted. Oh, well... Enjoy the pets!! Amazing, when no one has been there to greet me at the door, my dog has...a faithful friend.

Has to do with the pilgrims and the Indians celebrating harvest.
