I understand you. And still am grateful
For your arrival for a while.
And feeling pity.. - you weren’t able
To be as happy as was I.

As well I’m grateful for you leaving,
Appreciating your “ok”.
I wish you wonderful Thanksgiving
And freedom be yourself one day.

And only in recent years has it become acceptable to go for the publication of this part of me. I see it as a way of liberating me from these emotions. However, the lessons learned are invaluable.
