Thanks To You

Thanks to you, I stay up all night worrying
Worrying that something bad is going to happen
That someone's going to be missing.

Thanks to you, I can't sleep
Staying wide awake in fear of someone being gone
Or something being out of place.

Thanks to you, I feel unsafe, insecure.
I miss you, and you just don't realize that.
You don't realize that you were my world
My safehouse
My harbor

You were mine.
To have... and to hold... or so you said.
