Eyes wide open staring at the
sun
Today I'm thinking I'm a lucky
one
Nearly at the end of the nasty
road I've travelled
It's been a long time coming
and worth the wait
To see what's Lies ahead of the
pearly gates
Sun shining down, love all
around
I have God to thank for keeping
me sound
Many roads have I travelled
And many things I've had to
unravel
But feeling the way I do today
I can honestly say hip hip
hurray
To the man of my dreams who
makes my life worth while
I can't thank you enough for
making me smile
It has been so long this journey
that will end
And you have always been
there my beautiful friend
In good times and bad
You were always there
Even when I was feeling scared
You put your arms around me
Making me feel safe and secure
You whispered baby don't be
insecure you are a beautiful
person inside and out
You always know what to say
and do
That's why I've always loved
you
