Thankfulness In Trials
Born into this world full of hope
but soon we feel it ebb away
so many struggles are in our face
there's no lack of them every day
Our reaction is to turn right around
immediately change gear reverse back
run from all our life's troubles
but honestly forward's the right track
In the midst of all these struggles
we learn answers to questions of life
in this crucible of regular affliction
there's a remedy through this strife
Strength is received in midst of all this
a divine hand seems so real
giving us growth within ourselves
able to overcome whatever we feel
So be thankful for your trials
there's a purpose here for good
to develop a real strong character
so you look a right real cool dude!
