Thankfulness
The air that I breathe enters my lungs
Enveloping my heart
Surrounding it with the essence of being;
The essence of the love for you.
The love is my reason for living
And knowing that you feel the same
Drives me through the traffic of my days,
Allowing me to find haven within your arms,
And safety in your smile.
For you are all I need to live
And I thank the Lord for the gift of you.
