Thankful Forever

Thankful forever

Even before I knew I am me
You sculpted me with your hands with utmost care
In the rocky terrains, encouraged me to dare
Through your insight, light through mist I see

Suffered more than me in my every hurtful frown
Wiped my tears to make me smile
Though your knees hurted ,walked with me an extra mile
Whole-heartedly ,I gift you my emotions thankful crown

This feeling of gratitude crosses my soul's realms over and over again
As you keep my interests forever before yours
Anchoring the sails firmly at my stormy life's shores
Mother, you are my shimmering north star at my humble skies domain
