THANKFUL FOR TRADITIONS AND CHANGE

Today I’m thankful for traditions and though it may sound strange… I’m also thankful for the way traditions can grow and change It was Socrates…a Greek philosopher who said… long before there was a me and you…. The secret to change is to focus all your energy not on fighting the old but on building the new.

I enjoyed both of your Thanksgiving poems, Jim. We are creatures of habit and tradition but changes can be good. When circumstances change the family dynamics, we will find a way to adjust and accept the blessings we have been given.
