Thankful For Lessons Learned

I am so thankful :
  for the changes in my life,
  for the valleys and deserts I've wandered,
  for the mountains removed from my way.

I am so thankful :
  for the tears that I've cried,
  for every break in my heart,
  for every challenge I've conquered.

I am so thankful :
  for every bridge I have burned,
  for every word left unsaid,
  for all the sorrow and joy I've known.

I am so thankful :
  for my beloved family and friends,
  for all the memories we share,
  for every precious, fleeting moment.  

I am so thankful :
  for all the ones who have come and gone,
  for  love unknown to man,
  for a Saviour I call my own.

I am so thankful :
  for those who are my friends,
  for what we share together,
  for my Heavenly Father above.

I am so thankful :
  for my eternal home,
  for predestinated forgiveness,
  for  my GOD's omnipotence.

I am so thankful :
  for every chance I threw away,
  for every risk I took,
  for every place I've never been.

I am so thankful :
  for the evening tides,
  for all the above,
  for Lessons Learned.
