Thankful
Since the day we met,
Everything seems so new.
The sunset, the trees...
They'd be nothing without you.
You brought color to a world
That was once cold and gray.
You made even the coldest months
Seem as warm and cheery as May.
I'm so glad you came
Knocking at my door,
Glad you liked me enough
To come back for more.
No words can express
The way I feel for you.
Without you by my side,
There's no telling what I would do.
