Thankful

as I look out side and see the blue sky
I notice a women with 3 kids, and a baby that started to cry
I thank God that I am not there
Then I notice a bus driver with lots of care
but his face changed, when two guys got in a fight
I thank God I am not him, for that's not even right
As I turn my head I notice a man very ill
he is homeless and hungry, he might hurt if he isn't still
I thank God I don't have to worry about my health or the rain
I can see it's a clear picture, it is a shame
instead of thanking God, I complain in his name
I have so many things, family, friends and love
unlike so many people I can thank God up above

A lovely poem of thanks. We don't have to look far to find reasons to be thankful. God bless....Tanya
