Thank You Sweet

See how spooked i get, when there's nothing going on.
It must have something to do with, when i'm not, i get spit on.
I can't remember the last time i was at ease.
Thank you sweet Lord for these leaves.
Life now it's not always fair, it can get pretty rough.
And when i get to feeling down, my friend's, they pick me up.
You know i want what i want, then i get what i need.
Thank you Lord for these sweet leaves.
Looking back on my life, you know i have lauphed and i have cried.
The war it makes me angry!, i kneel down the sky's so wide.
Then i think it matters not, because i know that she believes.
Thank you sweet Lord for these leaves.
Listen all you people, i'm begging hear me please.
You have to know who's your friend and reconize your enemy.
The languages and the colors, they don't mean a thing to me.
Thank you Lord for these sweet leaves.
Now all you starving artist, keep on shaking the tree.
The music's going to save us, true love's our destiny.
This songs rhyme's and lyric's, they go on endlessly.
Thank you sweet Lord for these leaves.
