Thank You Lord for Decades Passed By Franklin Price 03/21/2021 Thank you Lord for decades passed Love between my wife and me When we wed the die was cast Now's over half a century Vows we said were set in stone Rings on fingers stayed in place One together, not alone We met through your good grace Our love grew deeper day by day To provide, you made us able We always had a place to stay Always food upon the table Family was always there Friends were not in short supply The life you gave us more than fair I praise you now, don't ask you why? You took my Barb to be with you Her time on Earth came to an end Her pain and strife are gone too On that, I know I may depend On the cross you gave your son He paved her way to Heaven's door She believed, He was the one She'll be there forevermore When my time on Earth is done I will hold her once again Thank you Lord for Jesus Who has saved me from my sin Amen
