Thank You God
Through all of the struggles my family went through
You made it possible for us to pull through
My mom showed us how to have faith in You
By surrendering her problems and leaving it all to You
I thank her and most of all You
For telling her to do the good things she do
You told her to make my sister and I go to church
We didn't wanted to go, but it didn't hurt
You told her how not to stress anymore
I watch her and she doesn't anymore
We have done wrong
But You forgave us because You are a forgiving God
I thank You
Because I was taught to never forget You
You let me live another day
And I thank You for that in my own special way
When I wake up with the morning light
I get on my knees and thank You
You and Your angels brought me safley through the night
Thank You for letting everything be alright
There were times when I thought You were tired of me talking to You
But my mom and a friend told me that You never get tired of me talking to You
I want to thank You
For everything You have done and will do
When nobody else wants to listen
On You I can depend
When I'm feeling lonely
I can count on You to keep me company
You have done so much for me
And brought me so far from where I use to be
I love You
And I thank You
