Thank you for understanding The words I couldn’t speak Thank you for accepting The worst part of me Thank you for expressing Interest in my heart Thank you for giving me A second chance to love Thank you… For encouraging me When I couldn’t hope For inspiring me To never give up For reassuring me When I was afraid For enlightening me With your own faith For reminding me That love is eternal Thank you… For the smiles you gave Expressions of sincerity For the joy and praise The gifts from your heart The ones that taught And the ones that sought To remind me of a love That will always be enough Thank you… for you, My forever friend I will always love you And think so highly of you.
