Thank You For the Love

Thank you for the love
That helped me to see
The light of the day
Shining through to me
Reaching into my heart
This love was all a part
Of what I had thought
Could reveal the truth

Of love without conditions
Love that inspires, is intimate
Love that requires only love
To fill a life with hope and grace
Peace that is the only place
I truly want to be

Thank you for the love
That has helped me to grow
To see the second chances
And to know… Love is the answer
The only thing I truly need
Is to see the hope, faith and love
The amazing grace bestowed
On those who really know
Love continues on…
Everlasting…
Always

Thank you for the love
That taught me about hope
Reassured my heart and soul
Healed the pain left behind
By so many moments of grief

That is a gift from above
