Thank You Father
Dear Father,
Ruler of the heavens, on this very special day,
Crystal clear it is, how much gratitude I feel,
Showering me with endless blessings and love, hand on my head,
Becoming my support system, giving me the best life I could ever have dreamt,
Keeping me in the tender care of your lap when others walked away,
Lending a helping hand, picking me up when I stumbled,
Indebted am I, to you dear Father, in every possible way,
No words can make me express the love I feel for you,
True friend who always stood by my side, in times of need,
Brave soldier who fought every fierce battle, to me save,
Loving parents to comfort me, when I felt like crying,
Brothers and sisters, as lifelong companions, here to stay,
This Christmas I want to convey my message to you,
You came in various forms, to make me feel protected and warm,
Small request, please never leave me, in every situation there may be.
