With open arms you welcomed me as if I were your own
I had no where else to go and you were there like you had known
Things were that way, no need of venting, and from the first day that I met you I was never treated different.
You are nothing like the others who said that they'd be there for me, because they quickly turned their back, but you show, you truly care for me.
Tupac said it better when he said " You Are Appreciated", so you will always have a place here in my heart, no joke nor play and....
If I ever were to lose you and god forbid I'd go through hell, because you are truly something special to me Pop, and that's real but can you tell?
You treat me better than my own father, and has been there more than he's ever done
and you have never disrespected me, I swear that truly means a bunch.
So for that you've owned that title, and I couldn't thank you enough, but as long as I shall live Pop I'm gone always show you love.
Because you were and still are here for me when I need it most, and have never thrown it in my face nor have you went around to boast.
You do it from the heart, and want nothing in return and that's hard to come by now and days, I respect that and hope to turn, any bad day you have "good", with these words straight from the heart, yeah I'd just hope to make you smile...
just making sure you heard that part.
I love you deeply pop and thank you much a billion times, just had to let you know whats been perpetually on my mind.
Your a real one Pop and ain't another out here like you, thanks for simply being you Pop, your heart, your trust, your friendship is what I'll always value.
