Thank You

I want to thank the ones who didnt stay
The ones who said forever
But they only ran away
I am forever grateful
To the ones who stopped my beating heart
The ones who said I love you
Then tore my heart apart
I give a big applause
To the ones who broke my trust
The ones who said believe in me
But betrayed me and turned my soul to radioactive rust
Though I was left wounded and all alone
Although my heart is calloused
And my soul's a little torn
I am so much wiser for the hurting I've endured
And with every disappointment I am just that much more sure
It is not me who is the defective one
But the ones who caused the hurt

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed.
