Days go by
Years pass by
And yet, you remember my name.
You’ve stopped me in stores
Just to say hi…
and told me,
“You’re a true friend”
You stood at my side
and gave me the push I needed in life…
and after all the years with you in my life
I never had the chance to properly say:
Thanks…
