Thank You

i thank you for the pain you brought, it made me who i am.
i thank you for the lies you told, it made me understand.
i learned to walk this road alone, for you i thank for that.
i learned that i'm my own best friend, and love myself in fact.
without your trials and heartache, i wouldn't know my strength.
thanks for leaving me all alone, i got to know myself in depth.
i can thank you for all that you have done, you see i hold not one regret.
if you had decided to stay with me, i wouldn't know this wonderful person that i met!
